As an entrepreneur, I love to feed my brain with stuff that gives me inspiration, motivation and most importantly practical tools that I can use in my business and in my personal life.  So, I thought it would be cool to share some of my favorite things that I use to get better.  My hope is you can comment and share some of your favorite things as well so that I can find some new things to check out.

My favorite podcast is The MFCEO Project with Andy Frisella.  First let me say, if you don’t listen and you’re an entrepreneur, you’re seriously missing out.  Andy may never know, but he’s made an incredible impact on my life.  He’s given me practical steps to build a business and move my life into a direction I never imagined it could go.  So Andy, if you ever read this; thank you.  If you’ve never listened, be forewarned, Andy does not mince words and you can probably what MF in MFCEO stands for.

Another favorite podcast of mine is The Ed Mylett show.  Ed runs a very large financial services company called World Financial Group.  I found Ed through Andy Frisella and he is a very dynamic guy that digs deep in his interviews with other business and thought leaders in the country.  Ed is very spiritual which is nice to connect with now and again.

I try to read 2-3 books a month and the 3 best books I’ve read so far this year are:

– Millionaire Success Habits by Dean Graziosi

– Invest in Debt – Jimmy Napier

– Law of Attraction – Michael Losier

Finally, the other things that keeps me tight, are my mastermind groups and meetings with my mentor.  If you don’t have these things in your business life, you’re sincerely missing the boat.  I’ve been able to bounce things off of my group that has helped to cut my learning curve substantially.  If you want to seriously grow, you’ve got to surround yourself with people that are pulling you up to their level.  I only wish I’d had access to podcasts like Andy’s in my 20’s.  I had Tony Robbins books which were great and super helpful, but there’s something about getting practical tips from week to week from someone very successful.  It’s like getting a coach for free and I can’t say enough for it.
