I wanted to just make a quick video this morning about mindset because I got approached by someone about a particular property that we have and the conversation came up about what it is that we do, how we acquire properties and do so in a bulk fashion and then sell them. Create owner financing and all this stuff. Somebody contacted me today and it was an interesting little back and forth so I wanted to share a little bit about it.

They were asking how I got started in this business. And realistically, the only way I got started was by being a resource. I asked my mentor how I could help. What can I do to help you? What can I do to learn everything that I can about this business and what can I find you? How can I make things happen? I knew nothing, absolutely nothing. I knew a little bit about a little bit, but nothing that applied to this particular part of real estate investment.

So at the end of the day, I just immersed myself in it and really tried to get to a level where I could understand it, I could apply it, and then take massive action to do it because, if you can become a resource to people that are playing at a level that you want to play at, all of a sudden you’re going to start to pick up things. You’re going to learn what they know, and then you can start applying it and taking massive action.

The best part is, you don’t need to have any money. I hear this all the time form people I’m very close to, “Well, it takes money to make money.” That’s horse shit. It does not take money to make money. You can achieve great things with absolutely no money out of your own pocket, simply by being a resource and finding things for people that do have the money. If you want to source deals, become somebody that just hits the streets and finds the deals, that costs almost nothing. It can cost nothing. You can find those deals on Craigslist all day.

So, you’ve got to change this in order to fulfill your financial success. It takes money to make money is simply a limiting belief. That’s all it is. If you can drop that and say, “okay, what can I do to find money today? Who’s got my money?” Grant Cardone says that all the time and I love it. You think about, “I want to buy this particular thing,” or, “I want to live in this kind of house.” Okay, “Who’s got my money to make that happen?”

The money’s out there. The universe has it. You just have to find it and you have to be the resource. One of the things that I changed over the past, I don’t know, two years almost was, I spent pretty much my entire 30s wasting, just wasted. Angry that I wasn’t where I wanted to be, which was a complete waste of time. So, one of the things that I said I was going to do was level up the people that I hang around with.

They always say you’re the result of the five people that you hang around with. It’s kind of a cliché in business or success, but it’s completely true, and I changed that. I changed it completely. So, no longer do I tolerate wasteful time. I cannot stand it. I will not waste my time on something that is not productive for me and my future and the future of my family. So, if you want to change your result, you’ve got to change your mind, your thoughts and most importantly, you’ve got to take massive action to make it happen. And that’s what we’re trying to do every single day that we can.

So, if you want to get started in investing and you follow our page and you like our posts and all that, but you’re not taking action. Why bother? Really, why bother? So, you’ve got to take action. Even if it’ not with one of our properties or one of our notes or whatever, the important thing is that you get out there and you figure out what result you want and then you take some sort of action today. Not tomorrow, not next week, not next month, today, to achieve

It’s already February 1st, so we’re one month down out of this entire year. So, the time is ticking. So, get after it today and if we can be a resource to you, let us know.
